  • To send appointment reminders, treatment-related updates, and administrative messages
  • To send promotional offers and updates, only if you have opted in

4. Cookies, pixels & advertising technology

This Site uses cookies and similar technologies from the following providers:

  • Meta Pixel & Conversions API (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — measures ad performance and helps us reach people likely to be interested in our services on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Google Ads tag / Google Analytics (Google LLC) — measures ad performance and site usage, and supports remarketing.
  • GoHighLevel / LeadConnector (our scheduling & CRM platform, operating at link.nerdsboost.com) — powers our appointment request form and stores the information you submit.
  • Elfsight — displays our Google review widget on this Site.

These providers may set cookies or use similar technology on your device and may combine information collected here with information they hold from other sources, subject to their own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage ad personalization directly with Meta's Ad Preferences and Google's Ad Settings. Blocking cookies may affect how this Site functions.

5. Text messaging (SMS) & calls

If you check the corresponding box on our form, you consent to receive transactional messages related to your dental care (appointment reminders, treatment updates, and service notifications) and, if separately checked, promotional messages (special offers, seasonal promotions, service announcements) from Tammy N. Tran, D.D.S., Inc. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Consent to receive promotional text messages is not a condition of scheduling an appointment or receiving treatment. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging is provided through our GoHighLevel/LeadConnector platform.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Site and our practice, such as our CRM/scheduling platform (GoHighLevel/LeadConnector), review-display provider (Elfsight), hosting provider, and phone/text carriers.
  • Advertising partners — Meta and Google — who receive certain technical and hashed contact data through their pixels/tags so we can measure and optimize our ad campaigns. This may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law (see Section 7).
  • Legal & safety — where required to comply with law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Practice, our patients, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of practice assets, subject to applicable law.

7. Your privacy choices & California rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or "sold/shared" about you
  • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (see Section 6 regarding Meta and Google)
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 13. We will verify your request using the contact information you provided and respond within the time required by law. To opt out of interest-based advertising broadly, you can also use the Global Privacy Control where supported, or the Meta and Google ad-preference links in Section 4.

8. Health information

This Site and its forms are intended for scheduling and general inquiries only — please do not submit detailed symptoms, diagnoses, insurance ID numbers, or other protected health information through the form or by text/email. Information you share with us at the office as part of your care is protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and is governed by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices, available at our office.

9. Children's privacy

This Site is intended for adults arranging dental care for themselves or their family and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this Site. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Data security & retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain contact and communication information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations.

This Site may link to third-party sites we do not control, such as Google Maps for directions or Google's review platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
